2006 Season
The 2006 regular season is almost complete. Please see previous emails for the latest standings. I have been trying to keep everyone up-top-date when I receive results.
Dues
We will collect dues this year. The BRASSball League Treasury stands at $165.82. We must renew our website for 2007 (about $100) and present a 2006 championship trophy (about $50). The $15 payment is due to me by September 25th. Please send check to:

Team Openings
Three teams are in search of new owners. If you know of anyone that would be a good fit for our league, please have them get in touch with me as soon as possible. Free Agency will be upon us soonึ and the new members would love to be on-board to participate.
The teams available are Boston, Charlevoix, and Moline.

- Plaza trades Jake Westbrook to Tinley for Mike Lowell and 750k
- Metropolis trades Jason Schmidt and Pedro Martinez to Box City for Carlos Quentin, Nick Markakis, Matt Holliday, and Ian Snell
- New Hampshire trades Jason Varitek to Maine for Zach Duke and Jason Kendall
- Fleetwood trades Curt Schilling, Kenji Johjima, and Fleetwood's 2007 #5 to Plaza for Ervin Santana, Chris Iannetta, and Plaza's 2007 #2
- Fleetwood trades Ryan Zimmerman to Metropolis for Nick Markakis and Metropolis' 2007 #2
- North Georgia extends Edgar Renteria's contract (1,X1-$5M)
Upcoming League Deadlines
September 2006
- September 15 ๑ September Home Series Results deadline. Series results for September are due to home opponents, League Statistician and Backup Statistician.
- September 20 ๑ Statistician sends out final LZP file for regular season.
- September 25 ๑ Dues payment for the next season, if any, due to the LD.
- September 25 ๑ Contract Extension deadline. Free agent contract extensions due to the LD.
- September 25 ๑ Rule Change Proposals deadline. Proposals for change due to the LD.
October 2006
- October 25 ๑ Contract Signings deadline. MO, Y1, Y2, Y3, A, U, and AM contract signings due to the LD.
- October 25 ๑ Roster Cuts deadline. Any roster cuts due to the LD.
- October 25 ๑ League Awards Ballot deadline. League Awards ballots due to the LD without exception.
- October 25 ๑ Rule Changes Ballot deadline. Rule Changes ballots due to the LD without exception.
Strat-O-Matic Game Patch
Prior to starting the Playoffs, please download and install the latest patch from Strat-O-Matic. In order to play games over the internet, both participants must have the same version of software. Please do so prior to your first playoff series!
