With that pick, selected J.D. That was the beginning of the turn-around for the franchise.

FAVORITE BASEBALL MEMORY
Minnesota Twins championship in 1991. I was a student at the University of Minnesota and staying near the Metrodome. The atmosphere during the playoffs and the celebrations after the victory were quite astounding.
