Curt Schilling went 9 strong innings as the Ocala Ocelots defeated the Stanley
Sioux 7 to 1 at The TeePee Tomb.

In the 3rd inning Ocala went on top for good when they scored 2 runs on 3
hits. That early scoring was all that Schilling(1-1) needed. Ocala rapped
out 12 hits for the night.

Cal Eldred(0-2) ended up with the loss. Paul Weltz was obviously impressed
with the pitching of Schilling, 'That guy made us look a little silly out
there tonight. We just couldn't get to him at all - everything was working
for him. I just hope that he got that kinda performance out of his system.'
