The Mudcats move on with a tough 4-2 win in Game 6.  Both starters were at their best as runs were hard to come by.
Quilvio Veras was the hitting star for the Mudcats as his 2 run shot in the 3rd gave the team and crowd a big lift.
Kile tossed an impressive 7 innings allowing only 3 hits and 2 runs.
Geoff Jenkins' solo shot in the 8th gave the Mudcat bullpen some breathing room for the 9th inning.

In a close game it was the Minnesota Mudcats 4, the Plaza Lions 2 at
Metrodome.

Minnesota brought 3 runs across the plate in the bottom of the 3rd inning with
the help of 3 hits.  That early run support was enough for Darryl Kile(2-0)
and Minnesota.  Minnesota rapped out 7 hits for the night.  

Matt Morris earned his 1st save.  Tom Glavine(0-1) took the loss.  He pitched
7 and 1/3 innings giving up 7 hits and 5 walks.
