The New Hampshire Derry Heifers edged the Santa Barbara Outlaws at Dodger
Stadium by the score of 3 to 2.

Kris Benson(2-3) had a steady outing.  He surrendered 4 hits and 2 walks in 5
innings lowering his ERA to 4.88.  Santa Barbara had a chance in the 9th but
they came up short.  

Francisco Cordero got the save, his 3rd.  Rodrigo Lopez(0-2) was given the
loss.  He gave up 3 runs and 4 hits in 8 innings.
