Derek Jeter rocketed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Ocala Ocelots defeated
the Metropolis Avengers by the score of 9 to 3 at JABA Park.

Jeter helped send the fans home happy.  He lined a base-hit in the 1st inning,
cracked a two-run shot in the 4th inning and ripping a solo home run (his 6th
of the season) in the 6th inning.  Ocala ended up with 16 hits for the game
while Metropolis had 4.  

Tom Glavine(4-0) went 5 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory. Scot Shields
earned the save, his 1st.  Pedro Martinez(0-2) suffered the loss.  He served
up 3 homeruns in his 5 and 2/3 innings.
