Carlos Zambrano racked up an impressive total of 10 strikeouts as the Moline
Cutters outscored the Plaza Lions 5 to 3.

Zambrano(2-0) earned his pay with a solid performance for Zambrano.  He
allowed 5 hits and 5 walks in 7 and 1/3 innings.  Moline and Plaza each
finished the afternoon with 7 hits.  

Trevor Hoffman gained credit for his 1st save.  Ben Sheets(0-2) suffered the
loss.  Despite taking the loss, he whiffed 11 batters in 7 and 2/3 innings.

John Zenz was impressed with Zambrano and his 10 strikeouts.  'It's tough to
generate runs if you can't make contact with the ball.'
