The Ocala Ocelots defeated the Springfield Isotopes by a score of 5 to 2 at
JABA Park.

Ocala came up with 3 runs in the 6th inning.  Derek Jeter led off and keyed
the rally when he doubled.  J.D. Drew came to the plate and drew a walk.
Todd Helton then drew a walk to load the bases.  Gary Sheffield came up and
he laced a one-base hit scoring two baserunners.  Larry Walker stepped into
the box and hit a sacrifice fly scoring the final run of the inning.  Ocala
out-hit Springfield for the game, 9 hits to 5.  

Tom Glavine(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing 2 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings.
Latroy Hawkins recorded the save, his 1st.  Roger Clemens(0-1) was the losing
pitcher.
