Roger Clemens tossed a complete game at Hall of Justice as the Metropolis
Avengers beat the Cook County Maulers 5 to 2.

Metropolis had 2 runs cross the plate in the bottom of the 6th inning.  The
key offensive moment was provided by Rafael Furcal who brought a roar from
the partisan Hall of Justice fans when he tripled scoring two baserunners.
Metropolis finished with 7 hits in the victory.  

The victory was credited to Clemens(5-0) who went the distance, allowing 2
runs. The loss was charged to Al Reyes(0-1) in relief.
